Officials representing townships of the second class in Clarion County will meet Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Trinity Point Church of God, Clarion, PA for their 104th Annual County Convention. The purpose of the annual convention is to provide township officials with up-to-date information to help them better serve their residents and to give them an opportunity to exchange ideas on local government issues.
The convention will feature a wide range of speakers. They will inform the officials about legislation affecting townships of the second class, association programs and services for townships, and issues of major importance to townships and their residents. Listed below is the tentative agenda and workshops for the 104th County Convention: 7:30AM Exhibitor setup 8:00AM-9:00AM Registration. 9:00AM-11:00AM Opening, business session, elections, resolutions, speakers 11:00AM-12:00PM The opportunity to visit with exhibitors and friends. 12:00PM-1:00PM Lunch, door prizes & exhibitor recognition 1:00PM-3:00PM Workshops 3:00PM-3:30PM Summation and closing for 104th Clarion County Convention. The speakers featured for the morning and afternoon: Supervisors: Presenters (NWC, DCED, DGLVR, CDBG, GBG, Penn DOT, DCNR) discussing Grant Opportunities for Municipalities & Colin Fantskey, SEO, sharing regulation updates Secretaries: Presenters (Clarion County Assessment Office & VGSI) discussing the Clarion County reassessment and the need to adjust municipal RE millage rates Auditors: Mary Amman, DCED Tax Collectors: Randy Mitchell, RAK Computer Associates Sandra Martinez, DCED Caroline Griebel, Clarion County Chief Assessor John Pinkerton, Keystone Collections Group And other presenters At the convention will be many exhibitors and their representatives displaying their products and services.
Representatives of county, state and national government have also been invited. Also, the Clarion County Association of Township Officials will be presenting their annual awards to the Outstanding Township and the Outstanding Individual.
