2025 Clarion County ConventionThe Clarion County Association of Township Officials held their 104th annual county convention on Thursday September 18, 2025, at Trinity Point Church of God, Clarion, PA. The officials in attendance heard from various speakers covering topics on Municipal Grant Opportunities for municipalities, dealing with blighted buildings, sewage regulations and adjusting R.E. millage after a county wide assessment.
PSATS 2nd Vice-President Chuck Stowe and Katie Lizza, PSATS Policy & Research Deputy Director, shared concerning the services and resources that PSATS provides to township officials, including: communications, education, member services and advocacy and lobbying at the state and federal levels. The 2025 Outstanding Township Award was presented to Limestone Township for applying for and receiving various grants and rebates for equipment and road maintenance projects thus saving money for their residents. The PSATS 2026 Annual Educational Conference, held April 19-22, 2026, offers unparalleled training and networking opportunities for township officials and employees and is the biggest municipal exhibit show of its kind in Pennsylvania.
