CCATO's 101st Annual Convention
Officials representing townships of the second class in Clarion County will meet Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the Trinity Point Church of God, Clarion, PA for their 101st Annual County Convention. The purpose of the annual convention is to provide township officials with up-to-date information to help them better serve their residents and to give them an opportunity to exchange ideas on local government issues.
The convention will feature a wide range of speakers. They will inform the officials about legislation affecting townships of the second class, association programs and services for townships, and issues of major importance to townships and their residents. Listed below is the tentative agenda and workshops for the 101st County Convention: 8:00AM-9:00 AM Registration. 9:00AM-11:00AM Opening, business session, elections, resolutions, speakers 11:00AM-12:00PM The opportunity to visit with vendors and friends. 12:00PM-1:00PM Lunch 1:00PM-3:00PM Workshops 3:00PM-3:30PM Summation and closing for 101st Clarion County Convention. The workshops featured for the afternoon: Supervisors: Alicia Ramsey, Clarion Conservation District & Mary Ammann, PENNDOT Financial Consultant Secrataries: Jessica Carroll, Northwest Commission Outreach Specialist Auditors: Terri Cunkle, PA DCED Local Government Policy Specialist Tax Collectors: Nicholas Mackereth, DCED Local Government Policy Specialist P.J. Lynd, PSTCA District I Representative Randy Michell, RAK Computer Zach Stiglitz, Clarion County Assessment Office Megan Kerr, Clarion County Tax Claim At the convention will be many exhibitors and their representatives displaying their products and services. In attendance will be representatives of county, state and national government. Also the Clarion County Association of Township Officials will be presenting their annual awards to the Outstanding Township and the Outstanding Individual.
